By Bobby Reed
As God continues to bless our church family with many new families the best way to get them connected is to make room for them!
How can we make room?
1. Open up your group if it's not very large
2. Start new groups
How do we start new groups?
1. begin talking about multiplication to your group
2. identify a potential leader
3. ask this person to be your apprentice leader
4. develop the new leader
How do we develop the new leader?
1. You lead a group meeting, they watch, you meet up with your apprentice and talk about it.
2. You lead, they help, you meet up with your apprentice and talk about it.
3. They lead, you help, you meet up with your apprentice and talk about it.
4. They lead, you watch, you meet up with your apprentice and talk about it.
5. They start a new group when you both agree they are ready.
Are you still wondering how you can help your group think multiplication and unleash new leaders? Email your campus minister and we will help you through this.

Leader Lunch
We're having a leader lunch this Sunday, August 7th at 12:30 at the North Garnett Campus. You and your family are invited. We need all leaders there as we embark on a new season of groups at FCC. We want to encourage you and prepare you for what lies ahead. Please RSVP by going to the following link:
Forward the link above to those in your group who are potential leaders as well so we can help them on their journey to leadership.
See You Sunday!

The DNA of FCC Groups

Groups here at FCC have a DNA too. There are certain attributes that should be in every group and class. Check out the list below and think about your own group.
Bible Study
- It’s through the living word that lives are changed
- We put too much pressure on ourselves to say the right thing as if it all depends on our words
- Life change happens from God’s word
Prayer
- Praying for one another gives each other a comfort
- Take the time and write them down
- Select someone as the prayer person
- Email them out so your group knows you expect them to be praying through the week
Leader Development
- We’re not looking to launch new groups, we want to launch new leaders
- One thing we won’t do is ask you to split your group, we will ask who in your group could lead their own
- It may be easiest for you to leave your group and leave it in the capable hands of a new leader so you can then go and lead a new group.
- Who in your group are you training up to lead?
Service
- Inward: Take care of each other
- Calling those who miss
- Help when there is a need
- Minister when they are in the hospital
- Line up meals when there is a new baby
- Outward: Look for opportunities to serve others together
- Once each season, your group needs to take on a service project
Outreach
- 3 times a year we’re going to feed people into groups during sign up months.
- But, don’t ever feel like you can’t invite others yourself
Fun
- Have fun together!
- Onsite groups, meet offsite once a month
- Go to a ball game
- Have a cookout
- I believe the earlier church did more than just listen to the apostles, pray, and eat. I think they enjoyed being together.
What attribute does your group do great at?
